OUR BEGINNING
One day, while I was walking my first dog, a thought struck me. Why do we use plastic bags for poop when they last forever? I imagined all the bags I would use, and all the bags every pet owner would use. It felt overwhelming and I was determined to find a better way.
I began testing different materials. Some were too hard, some too soft, and one even melted in the rain! It felt like a never-ending quest. But then, I found hope. A company in Norway made compostable bags. I started selling their bags and eventually made them our own.
This journey wasn’t easy, but it was worth it!
WHY WE EXIST
Our small business thrives on hard work, dedication, passion, and innovation. Every day, our team, our customers, and I pour our hearts into what we do. We face challenges head-on, refusing to give up. Our goal is not just to sell products, but to offer something special, something that stands apart.
We aim to be natural and easy. Choosing a sustainable lifestyle isn’t always simple or cheap. We focus on the higher end of the market, where people are willing to pay a bit more for certified sustainable products that give back and make a difference. Together, we can make the planet better for people, pets, and all its inhabitants.

FOR THE BETTER
We are proud to be the first company to be certified by the USDA BioPreferred program for pet waste bags and were given Pioneer Status by the USDA.
All our products are tested by the federal government to ensure they are made from plants. We offer bags with 38%, 60%, and the world’s first 92% plant-based formulation. Our products are made from plant-based materials like cornstarch, bagasse (sugar cane), and bamboo for our cat litter.
LOOKING AHEAD
We have new ideas to make our products even more sustainable. Our mission is to support important and exciting conservation projects that help pets, the planet, and all creatures.
One example is our mission to bring Peanut, a baby elephant who was rescued, back to his mother so they can live freely in a sanctuary. We also work on projects to further protect jaguars, dogs, sea turtles, and people who share the same environment. We seek out unique projects and go where we are most needed, leading the way in innovation and conservation.
ALWAYS IMPROVING
We always strive to innovate with new materials and unique features. We are proud to be the exclusive poop bags for Snoopy and the Jane Goodall Institute.
Our patented products include Countdown Rolls® and Backyard Bags. Countdown Rolls® are numbered from 15 to 1, so you always know when to grab a new roll.
Backyard Bags have a built-in glove to prevent them from blowing away and make it easy to pick up multiple poops. We ensure quality with careful inspections and make sure our factories are great places for workers.
